    Mike Moffitt, a coach at Liverpool’s Friends of Allonby Canoe Club, based at Liverpool Waters’ Collingwood Dock, has been nationally recognised for his contribution to the sport. Mike, who describes himself as a “75-year-old spring chicken”, has been a specialist in canoe polo for 32 years and has been awarded ‘Volunteer Coach of the Year’ by British Canoeing.
