No. 8 Princes Dock at Liverpool Waters has been given a luxurious makeover after a project which saw landlords Peel join forces with Chapman Taylor Architects, furniture consultancy company Form and fit-out contractor Jennor.

The refurbishment of No. 8 Princes Dock at Liverpool Waters is reflective of the buildings position as one of the most prestigious office buildings in the country. The five storey Grade A office building is already home to some of the biggest names in business with Coutts & Co, PWC and KPMG all residents at there. The prime waterfront location of No. 8 provides spectacular views of the Pier Head, including the Liver Building, and the River Mersey.

Offices in the building range in size from 2,316 sqft to 9,432 sqft and all benefit from air conditioning, a 24-hour security and building manager service, on-site car parking and two panoramic passenger lifts which look out over the river.

As people enter No. 8, they will be greeted by a new bespoke high gloss reception desk, with copper pendant lighting to complement the impressive double height space. The seating area has been reconfigured to provide guests with room to take in the impressive views and a new back lit, state of the art tenant directory will guide people to the right floor.

Customised glass display cabinets will house model shipping vessels in a nod to Liverpool’s world famous maritime heritage and new flooring has also been installed along with ceiling tiles and light fittings.

Liza Marco, Asset Manager at Liverpool Waters said:

“I am delighted with the completed refurbishment works and the new look for No.8 created in collaboration with Chapman Taylor, Form and Jennor. This was already a high-spec building but these additional features give the space a unique and luxurious finish to provide a well-designed environment for the current occupiers and their visitors.

“Liverpool Waters is rapidly becoming one of the most sought after destinations in the country, not just for the business community but for leisure and residential customers too. This project was about ensuring the look and feel of No. 8 is commensurate with its place in the office property market.

Princes Dock at Liverpool Waters is currently a hive of activity with a new cruise liner terminal set to be located there, three new mixed-use residential and leisure developments and an improved transport infrastructure all being delivered within the next two years.

Liverpool Waters is currently generating headlines as their plan to transform 150 acres of historic docklands along the iconic Liverpool Waterfront begins to come to life. With several developments already confirmed, the £5 billion project represents the biggest single regeneration project in the city’s history and is one of the biggest of its kind anywhere in the world.
