Dragon Boat Race.

Our annual Dragon Boat Race return to Princes Dock this September, bringing together corporate teams for a day of competitive racing in support of Claire House Hospice.

While teams take to the water to complete, the event creates a lively atmosphere along the dock, making it a fantastic spectacle for everyone to enjoy.  A firm fixture in the Liverpool Waters calendar the race raises vital funds for Claire House Hospice while showcasing the energy and community spirt of the waterfront. £40,000 was raised last year.

The Disney Dream returns to Liverpool on 9 September 2026, and it’s widely regarded as one of the most popular and high-profile cruise arrivals of the season.  The ship is especially popular with families and Disney fans, and its arrival typically draws large crowds along the waterfront.

Dockside food & fun.

We’re excited to welcome The Bus Yard, a street-food bar and live-music venue at Dockside from May throughout the summer months.  Expect a lively programme of entertainment, bringing music and atmosphere to Princes Docks with delicious street food and drinks. Dockside Screen – While enjoying street food and drinks from Bus Yard, we’re delighted to welcome back our Dockside Summer Screen at Princes Dock.  Throughout the Summer months, the screen will show a packed programme of live sporting action – watch, relax and soak up the atmosphere!  Screen schedule coming soon.

Match day comes alive at Liverpool Waters

Liverpool Waters plays host to Everton Football Club’s home fixtures at the Hill Dickinson Stadium bringing Premiership football right to the waterfront.  Match days transform the area with energy and atmosphere, as thousands of supporters arrive to watch Everton Compete throughout the football season.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan or visiting Liverpool for a match, home fixtures are a major highlight in the Liverpool Waters calendar. The fixture list includes high-profile matches such as Merseyside derbies, clashes with long-standing rivals and key moments in the football calendar.

Live football at Princes Dock.

If you can’t get to the game itself, you might still be able to catch the action at Princes Dock.  Selected football matches will be shown on the Dockside Screen through the summer, offering a relaxed social way to enjoy live football by the water.

With street food and drinks available from Bus Yard, it’s the perfect place to come down, watch the game and soak up the match day atmosphere – including coverage of major tournaments such as this year’s World Cup
