The appointment comes at a pivotal time for the project, with £81.1 million of infrastructure works now well underway, funded through the partnership between Peel Waters and Homes England. As one of the UK’s most ambitious waterfront regeneration projects, Liverpool Waters is rapidly gathering momentum something already evident on site, with the latest drone footage capturing the scale of progress.

To support the growing residential community across Liverpool Waters and increased footfall generated by nearby commercial space, tourism and the new 52,000+ capacity Hill Dickinson Stadium, Graham + Sibbald will initially focus on bringing forward opportunities for a new convenience food store within Central Docks, as well as marketing an exciting prime coffee shop/restaurant space in the centre of Central Park. Peel Waters and their appointed agent will look to work with exciting, innovative local, independent brands to operate the café in the park, who will help curate the community, vibe and authentic sense of place that Liverpool is known for.

These first units mark the beginning of Peel Waters’ wider placemaking strategy for the neighbourhood, providing essential best of class amenities and creating vibrant, welcoming, sociable spaces that enhance the resident and visitor experience.

As leaders in the retail and leisure sector, Graham + Sibbald will draw on their national reach and strong relationships with both major food store brands and independent operators, ensuring a vibrant and diverse amenity mix that supports the long-term success of Central Docks Liverpool Waters.
